CDS 2023 selection process consists of two stages. The first stage is the written examination, which includes three papers: English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. Candidates who clear the written exam are then shortlisted for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which assesses their personality, intelligence, and suitability for the armed forces. Final selection is based on the combined performance in both the written exam and SSB interview.
