The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC CMS 2020 notification on the official website on July 29, 2020. Candidates can apply through the official website from July 29, 2020, to August 18, 2020. The application fee of UPSC CMS 2020 is INR 200/- while female and reserved category candidates are exempted from the fees.

According to the UPSC CMS eligibility, candidates who passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. examination can fill the UPSC CMS application form. The upper age limit to apply for UPSC CMS is 32 years. However, reserved category candidates are also eligible for age relaxation. Before applying, candidates should check the eligibility criteria. How to Apply for UPSC CMS 2020?

Candidates need to apply online for UPSC Recruitment 2020. The application link will be available upon the release of UPSC CMS 2020 Notification. Candidates will have to complete the UPSC CMS registration process in two stages to fill the CMS application form. Applicants can follow the steps mentioned below to apply for UPSC CMS online exam:

Step-1: Visit the official website: upsconline.nic.in.

Step-2: Click on the notification ‘ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC’.

Step-3: Select ‘Part-I Registration’.

  • Read all the instructions and click on ‘Yes’
  • Enter the following details:
    • Name as per the matriculation/secondary examination certificate
    • Gender
    • Category
    • Date of Birth
    • Father’s Name and Mother’s Name
    • Nationality
    • Marital Status
    • Photo ID Proof and ID Number
    • Educational Qualification
    • Address, Email ID and Phone Number
  • Click on ‘Save & Continue’.
  • Make the ‘Payment’.
  • Now select the ‘Exam Center’ click on ‘Continue’.
  • Upload the scanned copy of ‘Photo’, ‘Signature’ & ‘Photo id Card’ and click on ‘Submit’.
  • Your Registration ID will be generated. An email will also be sent to the candidate’s email ID.

Step-4: Select ‘Part-II Registration’.

  • Enter the following details:
    • Registration Number
    • Date of Birth
    • Captcha code from the image shown on the screen
  • Now click on ‘Submit’
  • Read all the details entered by you and click on ‘Confirm’

UPSC CMS Application 2020: Required Documents

There are certain documents and details which need to be ready before filling the CMS application form. See below the list of documents/details required:

  • Scanned images of photograph & signature
  • Photo-identity card in PDF format
  • Bank details for online transaction
  • Mark sheet and admit card of Class 10 and 12

UPSC CMS Application: Required ID Proof

The candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of any one of the photo id card mentioned below:

  • Aadhar card
  • Voter id card
  • Pan card
  • Passport
  • Driving Licence

UPSC CMS Exam 2020 Application Fee

Candidates can pay the UPSC application fee by any of the following means:

  • To pay offline, candidates need to generate a challan and deposit the cash to any SBI Branch.
  • For online mode, candidates can make the payments via SBI Net Banking/Visa /Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/Internet Banking of SBI.
  • The payable amount is variable as per the category:

Female/SC/ST/PwD Exempted

Note: Candidates who pay by cash should print the system generated ‘Pay-in slip’ during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the SBI counter the next working day.

Those candidates who have completed the application process successfully will get to download the UPSC CMS 2020 admit card. UPSC CMS 2020 admit card will be released by the Commission on the website 3 weeks before the commencement of exams.
