UPSC CAPF 2021 Admit Card, Important Documents and Guidelines

Union Public Service Commission will release UPSC CAPF 2021 exam within 10-15 days before the exam date. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for the Assistant Commandant exam by logging in with their registration number or roll number at the official website – upsc.gov.in or below link.

  • Candidates have to carry the admit card along with photo ID and address proof to UPSC CAPF Exam Centers.
  • Candidates must check all the details mentioned on the hall ticket and contact the commission in case of any errors.
  • The 5 hours long Assistant Commandant exam will be held in offline mode. Check Exam Pattern
  • Candidates clearing the written exam will be issued call letters for medical test followed by interview round.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), a constitutional body conducts UPSC CAPF for making a merit-based selection and recommendation of candidates for Group A and Group B Services of the Government of India. It is through UPSC CAPF that assistant commandants such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP and SSB are hired.

How to Download

How to Download UPSC CAPF Admit Card?

UPSC CAPF aspirants need to follow the below-given steps to download the hall ticket:  

  • Firstly, candidates have to visit the official website-upsc.gov.in 
  • Search and click on the link for the e-admit card under the “What’s New” section on the right-hand side of the page.
  • You will be redirected to the page with the Admit Card download link.
  • Click on the link and read Important Instructions.
  • Now, click on “Yes” below the page.
  • Candidates can download the admit card by either logging in with registration number or roll number and date of birth.
  • Enter security pin and click on “Submit”.

Details on UPSC CAPF Hall Ticket 2021

After downloading the admit card, candidates must check the details mentioned on it in order to detect any possible errors like spelling mistakes, misinformation, blur photo, etc. The details mentioned on the admit card are given below: 

  1. Full name of the candidate.
  2. Full name of the candidate’s father or guardian.
  3. Roll number auto-generated at the time of registration.
  4. Exam venue.
  5. Time of commencement of the exam.
  6. Date of examination.
  7. Permanent address of the applicant.
  8. Scanned copy of passport size photo.

In case, the information mentioned on the admit card has errors or there is a mismatch of details on the admit card and the original document then the candidature of the applicant can get rejected. Hence, it is advisable for candidates to contact the exam conducting authority to get the errors rectified.

Required Documents

Documents Required with CAPF Admit Card

Candidates are instructed to carry certain documents along with your UPSC CAPF hall ticket to the exam center. Candidates need to carry any one of the government photo ID proofs mentioned below:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Passport
  • Pan Card
  • Driving License or 
  • Voter ID card
  • Any other ID proof issued by central or state governments.

The document should serve as an address proof as well. For instance, the candidate’s address is not mentioned on his pan card so it is better to either carry two documents or the document that serves as both identity proof and address proof. Candidates have to carry original documents with their xerox copies. Also, carry a passport size photograph the same as printed on the admit card.

The back page of UPSC CAPF Hall Ticket mentions the guidelines to be followed by candidates at the exam center. we are also providing certain instructions which must be followed on the exam day:

  • Carry UPSC CAPF 2021 admit card, your photograph, government-issued Photo ID proof, and address proof to the exam hall.
  • Candidates are strictly instructed not to carry any electronic device to the exam center.
  • On reaching the venue, applicants need to submit the belongings to the exam officer.
  • Candidates must occupy the seat allotted based on roll number.
  • The candidate must reach the exam venue sixty minutes prior to the commencement of the exam.
  • The documents will be verified by the authority before allowing candidates inside the exam center premises.
  • Last-minute entry to the exam hall is strictly prohibited.
  • Eatables are not allowed inside the venue.
