SBI Clerk Application Forms 2020 have been released on January 3, 2020 and the application process concluded on January 26, 2020. SBI Clerk 2020 Application Form was available to be filled in online mode only at the official website – A total of 8000 vacancies for clerical posts have been announced by SBI.

  • As per SBI Clerk Eligibility, graduates falling in the age group of 20 – 28 years as of January 1, 2020 are eligible to register for the recruitment exam.
  • The application fees are INR 750 for general, EWS and OBC categories whereas SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-servicemen are exempted from fee payment.
  • SBI Clerk Application fees can be paid in online mode only using Debit Card/ Credit Card or Netbanking.
  • Candidates will have to upload their passport size photograph and signature image in prescribed specifications.
  • Only successful registered candidates will be issued SBI Clerk Admit Card 2020.

How to fill SBI Clerk 2020 Application Form​?

SBI Clerk Application Forms are available from January 3 – 26, 2020 in online mode at the official website – Candidates can follow these simple steps to apply for SBI Clerk 2020 Exam:

Step 1: SBI Clerk Registration 2020

  • ​Visit the official website –
  • Click on the “Apply Online” link under RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSOCIATES (CUSTOMER SUPPORT & SALES) tab.
  • Then, click on the yellow tab stating “Click Here for New Registration”​​. The following window will open. 
  • Enter your Name, Mobile Number, Email ID and Security Code.
  • Your registration number and password will be sent to you as an SMS and Email.

Step 2: Fill SBI Clerk 2020 Application Form 

  • Candidates have to fill in their personal, educational and communication details in the application form.
  • Enter your parent’s name, your DOB, gender, category, address and other asked details.
  • Choose state for posting, participating banks and SBI Clerk Exam Centers in order of your preference. 
  • Fill the form very carefully as there will be no form correction window, however, you can edit the form three times till January 26, 2020.

Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

Candidates have to upload the scanned image of their passport size photograph and signature during registration in the below specifications:

Step 4: Pay SBI Clerk Application Fee

  • Candidates will have to pay application fees to complete the registration.
  • The application fees for General/ OBC/ EWS is INR 750 while SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-Servicemen are exempted from fee payment.
  • SBI Clerk Registration Fees can be paid in online mode via Debit Card/ Credit Card or Netbanking by January 26, 2020.
Note: Candidates must save a copy of their filled-in application form and fee-receipt for future reference.

Ques.  I am in my final year of graduation; can I apply for SBI Clerk exam?

Ans. Final year students of Graduation whose result will be declared before the final result of SBl clerk exam can apply for the exam.

Ques.  Is there any age limit for appearing in SBI Clerk exam?

Ans. Yes, there are age restrictions for appearing in the exam. Candidates should be of minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years of age as on January 1, 2020.

Ques.  Can I pay the SBI Clerk application fees through Bank Demand Draft or Cheque or Cash? Where do I pay my fees?

Ans. No, fees cannot be paid through Bank Demand Draft, Cash or Cheque. It can be paid only through online mode using debit/ credit card or netbanking.

Ques.  After submission of SBI Clerk application fee, can I cancel my application and apply for a refund of the fee?

Ans. Under no circumstances, cancellation of application and refund of fee will be allowed.

Ques.  Can I change my preferred test city after I have submitted my form?

Ans. No data can be changed once the SBI Clerk application form is finally submitted

What if you can’t upload photo and signature while filling the application form online?

Hi Sadim. Candidates must strictly adhere to the instructions related to the photograph and signature while applying online. Like the Photo Dimension must be 200-230 pixels, Photo Size must be 20-50 kb, and it should be in the JPEG/JPG format.

To get the same, candidates must provide the accurate email id as delivery of these emails purely depends upon the correctness of email id provide. Hi Pushpa, last date for submitting application form for SBI Clerk 2019 was May 3, 2019. So, you cannot apply for this exam this year. You may try your luck in next session that would commence in next year.

Hi Ujala, you may check you email ID or phone's inbox (which you have submitted while filling up the application form) as the status of fee received would have been notified there if it was a successful payment.
I have finally filled the form of SBI Clerk and payment is also done but there is an error that can be changed or the whole form can be cancelled or not. If can then the form can be filled again or not

Hi Aryan, no, SBI do not provide form-correction facility. However, you can again fill the form but with different credentials otherwise it would notify you as "Already Registered" and the fee also will be paid all over again without the reimbursement of previous form.
