The Bharatpol portal, developed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), was launched by Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah on 7 January 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The portal connects all Indian law enforcement agencies with INTERPOL through five modules — Connect, INTERPOL Notices, References, Broadcast and Resources — replacing slow letter/email/fax communication with real-time digital coordination, including the issuance of Red Corner Notices.
