The correct answer is

Amir Khusrau

In his Nuh Sipihr, Amir Khusrau lists the languages spoken in different regions of India, such as Sindhi, Lahori, Kashmiri, Bengali, Gauri, Gujarati, Telugu and Ma'bari.

He describes Hindawi as the common tongue of the land and Sanskrit as the learned classical language, while praising India above other countries.

Albiruni wrote on Sanskrit learning, Ibn Battuta on his travels, and Barani on politics, but none gave such a regional survey of languages.

Hence, Amir Khusrau.
