Marco Polo

Niccolo de Conti (15th century), Domingo Paes and Fernao Nunes (16th century) all visited the Vijayanagara Empire and left detailed written accounts of its administration and city life. Marco Polo travelled through parts of India in the late 13th century, well before the Vijayanagara Empire was founded in 1336, so he could not have written any account of it.
