What is the simplest form of 0.125 : 0.375 ?

The correct answer is

1 : 3

The ratio 0.125 : 0.375 is written as a fraction and simplified.

\(\frac{0.125}{0.375} = \frac{125}{375}\)

Dividing both terms by their highest common factor, 125: \(\frac{125}{375} = \frac{1}{3}\)

Hence, the simplest form of the ratio is 1 : 3.
