SSC CGL 2025 Tier 2 Paper 1 Question Paper (19-Jan-2026)
The correct answer is

SSO

The NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite, jointly developed by NASA and ISRO, was launched on 30 July 2025 aboard ISRO's GSLV-F16 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre.

It was placed into a Sun-synchronous Orbit (SSO) — specifically a polar dawn-dusk Sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of about 747 km with an inclination of about 98.4°. The dawn-dusk SSO keeps the satellite's solar panels continuously illuminated, which is ideal for an active radar mission.

SSO is technically a sub-class of LEO (low-Earth orbit), but the specific characterising orbital regime that defines NISAR's mission design is SSO.

Hence the correct answer is option 4) SSO.
