What is the average monthly salary per employee in the company ?

This question was previously asked in
UPSSSC PET 2026 Question Paper (25-Oct-2026) (Shift-2)
The correct answer is

None of the above

Average salary per employee = total monthly salary expenditure ÷ total number of employees.

Total employees = \( 40 + 30 + 50 + 60 + 20 = 200 \) and total expenditure = ₹ 93,00,000.

Average = \( \frac{9300000}{200} = 46500 \), that is ₹ 46,500.

Check: \( 46500 \times 200 = 9300000 \). Since ₹ 46,500 is not among ₹ 50,000, ₹ 48,000, ₹ 45,500 and ₹ 44,000, none of the listed amounts is correct.

Hence, None of the above.
