The correct answer is

34

The total sum of the original 10 observations is \(10 \times 25 = 250\).

After removing one observation, there are 9 observations left with mean 24, so their sum is \(9 \times 24 = 216\).

The removed value equals the difference between the two sums: \(250 - 216 = 34\).
