Given:

The numbers are 20, 28 and 48

Calculation:

Factors of 20, 28 and 48 

20 = 2 × 2 × 5

28 = 2 × 2 × 7

48 = 2 × 2 × 11

Highest common factors is 2 × 2 = 4

∴ The HCF is 4.
