The correct answer is

Integrated

An integrated circuit (IC), also known as a chip, microchip, or microelectronic circuit, is a semiconductor wafer on which thousands or millions of tiny resistors, capacitors, diodes, and transistors are produced. An IC can also perform other tasks like an amplifier, oscillator, timer, counter, logic gate, computer memory, microcontroller, or microprocessor.

Depending on the integration level.

Integrated circuits can be divided into groups based on their degree of integration.

  • Small Scale Integrated Circuits, or SSIC
  • Medium Scale Integrated Circuits, or MSIC
  • Large Scale Integrated Circuits, or LSIC
  • Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits, or VLSIC
  • Extremely Large Scale Integrated Circuits (ULSIC)
  • Giga Scale Integration, or GSIC.

As the name implies, it is an integrated system made up of numerous connected, miniaturized, components that are embedded in a thin semiconductor substrate (typically silicon crystal). There could be thousands or millions of transistors, diodes, capacitors, and resistors in a single IC.
