The Bodhisattva statues of Gandhara show the influence of which artistic style?
Greek
The Gandhara school flourished in north-western India and present-day Pakistan and Afghanistan from about the 1st century BCE to the 5th century CE, especially under the Kushanas.
It blended Indian Buddhist themes with Greek (Hellenistic, Graeco-Roman) techniques – realistic human anatomy, wavy hair, moustaches, heavy drapery folds and muscular bodies, carved mainly in grey-blue schist.
That is why it is often called Graeco-Buddhist art.
Mughal and Rajput styles belong to medieval painting and architecture, many centuries later; Persian influence is seen mainly in Mughal-era art, not in Gandhara Bodhisattvas.
Hence, Greek.
