This question was previously asked in
CDS I 2016 English Previous Year Paper (14-Feb-2016)
The correct answer is

Karst topography

The correct answer is Karst topography.

When rainwater absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and soil, it forms a weak acidic solution. This acidic water seeps through cracks and pores in the soluble bedrock, dissolving the rock and gradually enlarging the cracks, eventually forming caves. This process of dissolving and shaping landforms through the action of water on soluble rock is characteristic of Karst topography. Based on the analysis, stalactites and stalagmites are classic features found in areas shaped by the dissolution of soluble bedrock, which is characteristic of Karst topography.
