Question

Select the number from among the given options that can replace the question mark (?) in the following series.

45 95 245 695 ?

This question was previously asked in
RRB NTPC 2024 Undergraduate CBT 1 Question Paper (29-Aug-2025) (Shift 1)
The correct answer is

2045

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 2045.

Differences: \(95-45=50,\ 245-95=150,\ 695-245=450\); each difference is tripled. Next difference \(= 450 \times 3 = 1350\). So \(? = 695 + 1350 = 2045\).

Hence option (1).
