"Rajendra I" was the son of which chola ruler?
Rajaraja I
Rajendra I (reigned c. 1014-1044 CE) was one of the greatest emperors of the medieval Chola dynasty of South India.
He was the son and successor of Rajaraja I (Rajaraja the Great), who built the famous Brihadeeswarar (Rajarajeswaram) temple at Thanjavur.
Rajendra I carried the Chola banner north to the river Ganga and launched a naval expedition against the Srivijaya empire in Southeast Asia, earning the title Gangaikonda Chola and founding the new capital Gangaikonda Cholapuram.
Vijayalaya (option 1) founded the imperial Chola line in the 9th century, far earlier, so he was not Rajendra's father.
Parantaka Chola I (option 2) ruled in the early 10th century, again generations before Rajendra I.
Kulothunga (option 3) came to the throne only in 1070 CE, after Rajendra I, so he cannot be the father either.
Hence Rajendra I was the son of Rajaraja I.
