RRB JE 2018 CBT 1 Question Paper (01-Jun-2019) Shift 3
The correct answer is

Every 12 years

Every 12 years is correct.

The Purna (full) Kumbh Mela is held once every 12 years at each of its four sites: Prayagraj, Haridwar, Nashik-Trimbakeshwar and Ujjain. Its timing is fixed by the positions of Jupiter, the Sun and the Moon.

The Ardh (half) Kumbh is held every 6 years at Prayagraj and Haridwar, and the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj comes after 144 years, that is, after 12 Purna Kumbhs.

Because the four sites take turns, some Kumbh gathering takes place roughly every 3 years.
