The correct answer is

JLP

Find the gaps between the letters of each cluster using their alphabetical positions.

GIL: G(7) → I(9) → L(12), so the gaps are +2 and +3.

KMP: K(11) → M(13) → P(16), so the gaps are +2 and +3.

VXA: V(22) → X(24) → A(1, i.e. 27 on a cyclic count), so the gaps are +2 and +3.

JLP: J(10) → L(12) → P(16), so the gaps are +2 and +4, which breaks the +2, +3 pattern.

Hence, the letter-cluster that does not belong to the group is JLP.
