The correct answer is

Chandragupta II

Kalidasa was the greatest Sanskrit poet and dramatist, author of works such as Abhijnanashakuntalam, Meghaduta and Raghuvamsha.

He is traditionally counted among the Navaratnas (nine gems) in the royal court.

These gems adorned the court of Chandragupta II, who bore the title Vikramaditya and under whom the Gupta age reached its cultural zenith.

Hence, Kalidasa flourished in the court of Chandragupta II.
