The correct answer is

41 1/4

Rate of filling = \( \frac{1}{11} \) per hour, Rate of emptying = \( \frac{1}{15} \) per hour.

Net rate = \( \frac{1}{11} - \frac{1}{15} = \frac{15 - 11}{165} = \frac{4}{165} \).

Time required = \( \frac{1}{\frac{4}{165}} = 41.25 \) hours or \( 41 \frac{1}{4} \) hours.
