A person travels at the speed of 12kmph, 8kmph and 6kmph on the surface of an equilateral triangle. Find the average speed of his journey. (In Kmph)

The three sides of an equilateral triangle are equal, so equal distances d are covered at 12, 8 and 6 km/h.
Average speed for equal distances = \(\frac{3}{\frac{1}{12} + \frac{1}{8} + \frac{1}{6}}\).
\(\frac{1}{12} + \frac{1}{8} + \frac{1}{6} = \frac{2 + 3 + 4}{24} = \frac{9}{24}\).
Average speed = \(3 \times \frac{24}{9} = 8\) km/h.
Hence, the average speed is 8 km/h.
