NIACL AO Mains Syllabus (Objective) for Generalists and Specialists
For specialist positions, this portion assesses domain-specific expertise. It covers subject-related concepts and topics relevant to the candidate’s professional field.
NIACL AO Mains Syllabus (Descriptive) for Generalists and Specialists
Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test contains 30 marks, to be completed in 30 minutes. It will be conducted through online mode, in the English Language only.
Candidates must clear each section by obtaining the minimum marks set by NIACL. Only an adequate number of candidates in each category, around 15 times the vacancies, will be shortlisted for the Mains. The Descriptive answer scripts will be checked only for those who qualify in the objective test. Cutoffs for evaluating the Descriptive paper will be fixed based on the number of available vacancies.
