Step 4: Enter your details such as name, contact details and valid email id that is in use.
Step 5: A temporary registration number and password shall be developed and sent to your mobile number, and email id entered earlier.
Step 6: Login in with the provided registration number and password.
Step 7: Fill in all the information required and click on the option "Save and next".
Step 8: Cross-check the details entered by you and select " Validate your details" and continue further by clicking on"Save and next".
Step 9: Upload the scanned copies of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature of the candidate.
Step 10: Click the option "Preview" for one last check.
Step 11: After verifying the details, click on "Final Submit".
Step 12: A payment tab shall appear on the screen, proceed with the details and instructed.

- Nationality: To take up the examination, a candidate must fall under any of the following categories:
- An Indian citizen,
- A candidate of Nepal,
- A subject from Bhutan,
- A Tibetan permanent immigrant who had come to India to settle before January 1, 1962.
- A candidate of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, the United Republic of Tanzania and Vietnam.
- The Government of India should have issued the immigrants the immigrant candidates with a certificate of eligibility.
- Educational qualification of the candidates: The minimum qualification needed for a candidate to appear for the NIACL AO examination is either an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree from any state/central government acknowledged university.
- Candidates who belong to SC/ST/PWD/EWC categories should at least have a minimum score of 55%.
- Candidates under the categories of General/OBC should at least have a minimum score of 60%.

- The educational qualification of a candidate must be from a university/Board/Institution that is recognised by the government of India.
- Results of the UG/PG degree should've been declared before or on 1.12.2020.
- Proper submission of documents from the Board/Institution/University is mandatory.
- The percentage shall be calculated by dividing the total score obtained by the candidate in all the semesters aggregate by maximum marks in every subject.
- A situation where the candidate is near the border and still fails to obtain a minimum percentage shall be disqualified.
- Candidates who graduated from universities that grant CGPA/OGPA will have to deliver a certificate issued by the appropriate inter alia acknowledging the norms of the University regarding the conversion of grades into percentages.

- For candidates who fall under more than one category of age relaxation, the relationship shall be available based on government norms/guidelines and rules of the company.

The selection process of a candidate is subdivided into four recruitment stages-
- Preliminary stage:
- This stage of the recruitment process contains three sections i, e: English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability.
