To be eligible for NIACL AO Recruitment 2026, candidates must fall within the prescribed age limit as of August 1, 2026. Candidates must be above the age of 21 years but must be below the age of 30 years. This means that candidates must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1996 and not later than August 1, 2005, both dates inclusive.
Candidates from the General category must be within the age limit of 21 to 30 years. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, NIACL has provided relaxation in the upper age limit as given below:

The selection process for NIACL AO 2026 consists of three stages: Prelims, Mains, and an Interview. The Prelims is an online objective-type screening test. Only those who qualify move on to give their NIACL AO Mains exam 2026. The Mains exam includes an objective section and a descriptive section. Shortlisted candidates from Mains are called for a personal Interview. Final selection is based on combined performance in the Mains and Interview.
