UPSC IAS 2026 notification will be released on January 14, 2026, announcing vacancies for the Civil Services Examination. UPSC had announced a total of 979 UPSC CSE vacancies (tentative) for its 2025 session. Candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria will be able to apply online for UPSC IAS 2026 on the official website. The selection process happens in stages of prelims, mains and an interview to recruit candidates to the vacant positions.

The total vacancies for UPSC CSE 2025 Exam are 979. This includes 38 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Category, distributed as follows:
