CSIR NET Application Process involves online registration, uploading scanned documents, filling up application form, and payment of application fees. Candidates must possess any one of the following degrees – M.Sc, Integrated BS/ MS, BS- 4 years, B.E, B.Tech, B.Pharma, MBBS with at least 55% marks for General/ OBC and EWS category and 50% for SC/ ST and PwD category. Candidates applying for the test have to deposit the application fee in online mode using Syndicate/ SBI/ HDFC/ ICICI bank gateway through Debit/ Credit card/ Netbanking/ UPI and Paytm. No offline mode for fee payment is available. The application fee varies as per candidate’s category as stated in the table below:

Ans. NTA will open the application form correction window soon after the registration process. Candidates will get an opportunity to can edit the application form in this period.
Ques. Can a candidate apply for both JRF and Assistant Professorship?
Ans. Yes, candidates can apply for either JRF or Assistant Professorship or for both provided they fulfil the eligibility. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria of CSIR UGC NET before applying for the exam.
