The CGPSC State Service Exam has three phases:

  • Prelims Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Interview

CGPSC 2021 Prelims Exam

The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission for State Service Exam subsists of two compulsory paper of objective type. The span of the exam is 2 hours each.

First Type Paper: The paper first subsists of General Studies (100 Question, Marks 200 and timing 2 hours). There are 1/3 negative marks for each incorrect answer.

Second Type Paper: The test Paper is an Aptitude Test (100 Questions, Marks 200 and time 2 hours) There also 1/3 negative marks for each wrong answers.

Maximum passing marks: In each test paper there is a maximum passing mark. The maximum passing mark is as follows.

Handicapped Students Reserved Category: 23%

Unreserved Category: 33%

CGPSC 2021 Mains Examination

The Mains exam subsists of 7 papers. The nature of the exam will be typical (small/ medium/long) type. Each paper will be of 200 marks and the time of the exam is 3 hours.

Important points to be noted about Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission Mains Examination

  • Overall the paper except Language paper can be answered in either English or Hindi as select by the student.
  • In the Essay paper, the aspirants have to write 2 essays, one on a National level and other associated on the state of Chhattisgarh.

CGPSC 2021 Interview

The Aspirant (for the personality test) will be chosen based on the merit list depends on the marks obtained in Mains Exam. The Personality test will be of 150 marks. The final merit list of students recommended for the services will be depending on the cumulative numbers of Mains Exam and Personality test.

Eligibility Criteria for CGPSC 2021

The examination body defines the eligibility criteria of the CGPSC. The aspirant needs to check the Chhattisgarh 2021 Eligibility and Criteria before applying for it online. The eligibility and Criteria include necessary depending on age and educational qualification.

Age Limit
