UKPSC (Uttarakhand Public Service Commission) Eligibility 2021

The Uttarakhand Union Public Service Commission (UKPSC) conducts a combined competitive examination to recruit candidates to the various designated positions in the administrative cadre of the state. The commission came into existence on the 15th of May, 2001. The permitted strength of the Commission is the Chairman and the six members. The working of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is supervised by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Procedure and Conduct of Business Rule, 2013.

UKPSC Eligibility

UKPSC 2021 Eligibility criteria

Every candidate needs to fulfil the following eligibility criteria in order to appear for the UKPSC exams-


  1. The competitor must be a resident of India;
  2. Tibetan refugee migrating to India to permanently settle here before 1962 can also apply. However, such candidates need to have a relevant certificate issued from the authorities.
  3. The competitors showing up to India with an expectation to for all time settle here from nations like Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania are on the whole qualified. However, even they need to have a certificate of eligibility from the state government.

Age limit

The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 42 years as on 1st of July, 2020.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputed university.
  • Candidates must have a post-graduation diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership of the educational institution/ American institute of town/Institute of town planner or institute of town planner (India) applicability to the post of Sahayak Nagar Niyojak.
  • Candidates to need to have graduation with Hindi subject to be qualified to apply for the post of District data official/Feature author.

UKPSC Admit Card

Uttarakhand PCS 2021 Admit Card

The Candidates shall receive the Uttarakhand PCS 2020 Admit Card after the submission of the application form. The admit card be accessible on the official gateway of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. The complete recruitment process of UKPCS is categorised into three stages which are-

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Main Exam
  • Interview

Candidates clearing the Preliminary Exam shall only be eligible for the Main Exam and the Interview.
