SSC GD which is known as Staff Selection Commission will conduct GD Constables Exam 2021 to fill up the vacant posts of (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman. It is a national level exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Every year SSC conducts exams to fill up thousands of vacancies in the Government Department and Ministries. To apply for the post of SSC GD Exam, Candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility requirements. The eligibility for the post of SSC GD exam is based on the below factors:
Academic Qualification: Academic Qualification is one of the important eligibility criteria to apply for the post of SSC GD. The minimum qualification to apply for the post of SSC GD, 2021 is to qualify10th standard or Matriculation from a recognized board. Candidates who have not acquired the essential qualification are not eligible to apply for the post.
Age limit: To apply for the post of SSC GD, Candidates should be in between 18- 23 years. The upper or minimum age limit should be 18 years and the maximum or upper age limit should be 23 years.
Nationality: Nationality is another important Eligibility Criteria to apply for this post. Only Indian Candidates can apply for the post. For migrated candidates, they must submit domicile/ PRC against his/ her state/ UT.
Age relaxation: Age relaxation is there for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC, Ex-serviceman, and other categories of person. There is age relaxation in the upper age limit. In the below table, the details of age relaxation are given:

Physical Standard is another important eligibility for the post of SSC GD. Candidates who will qualify for the Computer Based Test will be shortlisted for the Physical Eligibility Test/ Physical Standard Test which is conducted by the commission. Physical Eligibility Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centres which will be finalized by Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Candidates who found themselves to be eligible on height parameters will have to undergo Physical Eligibility Test (PET) which will be followed by biometric/ technology aided identification. The eligibility criteria include different categories which are very important to appear for the exam.
