SSC GD 2021 Section Wise Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The SSC GD 2021 has four consecutive stages, and the first stage is a Computer Based Exam. The syllabus for the SSC GD CBE 2021 will be based on matriculation level. The second stage is a Physical Efficiency Test wherein several physical tests will be conducted to test the candidate’s fitness. The next stage is that of the Physical Standard Test, and here the physical parameters are checked. The Last Stage is a Medical Examination to ensure the proper health of the candidate.

SSC GD CBE is the first stage of the SSC GD 2021. To crack the examination, you have to be very clear about each and every section of the paper. This section is very important as it is the qualifying round. You have to especially keep in mind that each question carries the same weightage. SSC GD 2021 Physical Efficiency Test Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Once you clear the SSC GD CBE, you will be allowed to attempt the SSC GD PET. The PET exam is a rigorous physical exam that tests your fitness and physical aptitude. The officials will first check whether you fit the height and weight criterion after which you will be allowed to attempt the PET. The PET is a Race that you have to complete within the time allotted. This will be followed by biometric identification. Here are the criteria for SSC GD 2021 PET -

  • Pregnant women cannot take PET.
  • Ex-servicemen are exempted from PET.
  • Scrutiny of eligibility is done only after the PET(Race) is completed.

The SSC GD PST (Physical Standard Test) is carried out on the basis of the following factors -

  • Height and Weight standards are based on the Gender of the Candidate.
  • Weight has to be proportionate to the height of the candidate.

This is the last stage of SSC GD exams. There will be thorough scrutiny of your health on the basis of these factors -

  • The colour vision standard is CP-3 by ISHIHARA.
  • Visual Correction of any kind is not allowed, even glasses.
  • For a right-handed person, the right eye is the dominant eye and vice versa.
  • Binocular Vision is necessary.

Ans. To find out the dates for the SSC Exam and SSC Recruitments, you will have to check their Annual Calendar of Examinations. The Updated calendar is uploaded on the official website of SSC. Ques. How to register for the SSC GD Exam?

Ans. To register for the SSC GD Exam, you have to register on the official website of SSC. The process is completely online. You have to complete the one-time registration of the website after which you will receive the registration number and password. You have to use this ID and Password to login and complete other formalities.

Ques. What is the fee for the SSC GD Exam?

Ans. The fee for the SSC GD Exam is just 100 INR. It is the same for every SSC exam including SSC JE, SSC CGL, etc. The fee has to be paid online during registration. The fee can be paid using Debit Card, Credit Card, BHIM UPI. The fee can also be paid in SBI Branch using Challan during payment.

Ques. What to do if the Fee has not been updated even after paying?

Ans. If fee status is not reflecting on your account even though it has been deducted from your account, it usually means that the commission has not received the payment. It is advisable to wait for 3 business days after which you have to contact the bank.

Ques. Can I change the details after successful registration?

Ans. Once the registration has been successfully completed, you cannot modify any other details. You cannot change the medium of instruction for the Language test once it has been selected either.
