SSC CHSL Exam Centres 2021 (Out) and the Statewise Test Centre List

SSC CHSL Exam Centres list for 2020-21 have been released on the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The SSC CHSL exam is scheduled to be conducted from 12-27 April, 2021. These centres are established on the basis of the districts under different SSC Regions, which are ER, WR, NR, SR, CR, NER, NWR, MPR and KKR. Also, Check the upcoming SSC Exam Dates 2021, read the news here

Candidates are supposed to enter three preferences according to their priority for the test centre in the Application Form, but that should be in the same region. The Official Website has clearly mentioned that the request for Centre change will not be entertained under any circumstances. It has also mentioned that SSC has the right to cancel any centre. In such cases, candidates will be asked to appear for the test from any other exam centre.

List of Documents required at SSC CHSL Exam Centres

While appearing for the test at the centre for SSC CHSL, Candidates are requested to bring the following documents to get admitted for the exam.

  1. Admit Card - Only those Candidates will be allowed to enter whose SSC CHSL admit card has clearly specified the given centre.
  2. Government ID Proof - It can be Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc.

SSC CHSL 2020-21: Guidelines for the Day of Exam

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
  • Candidates must bring two passport sized photographs, one government ID Proof, along with the Admit Card to the test centre on the day of exam.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any of the prohibited items mentioned in the Admit Card
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall without the permission of the invigilator.
  • For the 2020-21 cycle, Candidates are requested to bring their own Mask and Sanitizer.
  • Candidates will have to remove their mask for identification whenever asked.

FAQs

Ques. Can a candidate appear at any of the given centres?

Ans. No. A candidate will be allowed entry at only a specific test centre as mentioned on their admit card.

Ques. Is there any provision for scribes in case of Blind Candidates?

Ans.A candidate can have a scribe in case of visual impairment. However, they’ll need a separate admit card for them.

Ques.Is it possible to get the centre changed before the Exam?

Ans.No. Centre once locked will not be changed. Hence, candidates are advised to enter their choice of centres carefully.

Can I reach the exam center 15-20 minutes earlier?

Hi. Candidates must reach the exam centre at least an hour before the starting of the exam. Also make sure that you carry two passport sized photographs, one government ID Proof, along with the Admit Card to the test centre on the day of exam.
