SSC CHSL 2020 Tier 1 Admit Card will be available from the last week of February/first week of March 2020. Follow the steps given below to download hall tickets for SSC CHSL 2020.

  • Step 1: Go to the Regional SSC website.

  • Step 2: Enter Registration number and date of birth

  • Step 3: Click on the link, “Download SSC CHSL 2020 Admit Card”

  • Step 4: Download and take out at least two printouts of the Admit Card for future reference

The following are the additional documents that you must carry to the exam hall. Without these, you are liable to being denied entry in the examination hall:

Since the exam is conducted on different dates in different regions, the issuance of the admit card is also varied. Each of the nine regions has their separate websites and the link to download the admit card is provided through these sites. In case the admit card is not yet published, you can still check the exam status and find out the exam date. Often the candidates are allotted seats in a different city and in such a situation, to help you make the travel arrangement accordingly, the exam dates are published first followed by the admit card.

  • Go to the respective regional website and check for the “download e-admit card” link.

  • In case the admit card is not yet published, the link will have the notice for the exam date.

  • Currently, the link shows the notice regarding postponement of the exams due to the COVID-19 and when the rescheduled dates are finalized, it will be updated accordingly.

  • Without the documents, the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the SSC CHSL exam.

  • The admit card is not sent by post and must be downloaded from the respective website.

  • If you are unable to download the admit card or have any error in the published hall ticket, then you must contact the respective regional/sub-regional office with proof of submitting the application.

  • The date/shift/venue/place are irreversible and no request for change will be entertained.

  • Once the registration form has been submitted and the application procedure has been completed, no information entered can be changed.

  • After final submission, the photograph and signature cannot be changed either.

If you forget the registration ID and unable to download the admit card for SSC CHSL 2020, the following are the steps to retrieve it:

  • Go to the ssc.nic.in website.

  • Click on the “Forgot Password” link.

  • In the pop-up, select the respective state and enter either the email-ID or registered phone number.

  • On submitting this information, the registration ID will be sent to you.

  • Follow the usual method of downloading the SSC CHSL Admit card using the retrieved registration ID.

Question: I cannot find the link for the admit card in the ssc.nic.in website. What should I do?

Ans. The admit card is published through the respective websites of the regional offices. Check the URL of your respective regional office for the link.

Question: There is an error in my admit card. How to rectify it?

Ans. There is no clear procedure mentioned for such a situation on the website. But you can call the helpline number of the respective regional office immediately and see what they suggest.

Question: Why is the exam venue not mentioned and only the exam city?

Ans. If you are shown only the exam city and the date, you are probably looking at the exam status and the admit card is yet to be published. Download the admit card and you will find the entire address of the exam venue in it.

Question: Will I need the Tier-1 admit card after the exams are over?

Ans. Yes, you will need to retain the admit card for Tier-1 till the SSC CHSL recruitment process is over, in case you qualify.

Question: Can I show the digital admit card in my mobile if I forget to bring a hard copy of it to the exam center?

Ans. No. Only the hard copy will be accepted and moreover, no electronic gadgets will be allowed in the exam hall. It is advisable that you find a nearby cyber café or store for getting a printout before entering the hall.
