Here's a step-by-step guide for applying for SSC CHSL 2026 exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the "Apply" tab and then select "CHSL" from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and click on the "Proceed" button.

Step 4: Complete the online application form with your personal and academic information. Enter your Aadhaar number or any other photo ID proof number, as well as your name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, Class 10 board name, roll number, year of passing, gender, degree of education, permanent address, cell-phone number, and email ID.

Step 5: To confirm your mobile number and email address, enter the OTP sent. Your registration number and password will be sent to your contact information.

Step 6: Upload your scanned photograph and signature per SSC's specifications. After uploading photos, the registration procedure is complete.

Step 7: Fill out the application form by providing contact information, educational information, and so on.

Step 8: Enter your category, nationality, and, if applicable, visible identification mark. Indicate your preferred typing test medium and three exam center cities.

Step 9: Accept the declaration by clicking on the "I Agree" button.

Step 10: Pay the application fee through online mode using a debit card, credit card, BHIM UPI or net banking. 

Step 11: Verify all the details entered in the application form and submit it.
