To know the RRB NTPC selection process comprises four stages. The selection process of Station Master and Traffic Assistant includes two-stage Computer-Based Tests followed by Computer Based Aptitude Test. Ques. What is the normalisation process of RRB NTPC 2020 Cutoff?
Ans. RRBs will conduct RRB NTPC exam in multiple shifts, stages and sessions. The difficulty level of the question paper in each shift can be different. The Railway Boards utilize the normalization process to equate marks of candidates across various shifts. RRB NTPC cut off 2019-20 for each stage will be prepared after the marks of candidates have been normalized.
Ques. Is normalization some sort of grace marks?
Ans. No. Normalization process followed by RRBs is a scientific and statistical process. It is not a process of awarding grace marks.
Ques. Is there any interview in RRB NTPC 2020 Selection process?
Ans. No, there is no interview. It is totally based on calculated values of parameters such as the raw score of the candidate, which means a standard deviation of raw marks of candidates in his/her session and means a standard deviation of raw marks of candidates other sessions.
Ques. Can normalized score be less than raw score?
Ans. Yes, it can be in certain cases.
