The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) delivers the RRB NTPC cut-off accompanied by the result and scorecard. Phase 1 of the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam  has been conducted from December 28, 2020 to January 16, 2021. while Phase 2 will start from January 16, 2021, to January 30, 2021. On the other hand, The Board is set to conduct the RRB NTPC 2021 CBT-I Phase 3 from January 31, 2021 ending on February 12, 2021 for approx 28 Lakh candidates.

  • The RRB NTPC 2021 cutoff for CBT 1 is the required qualifying marks in nature.

Que. What is the normalization process of the RRB NTPC 2021 Cutoff?

Ans. RRB NTPC cut off is determined based on the normalized scores. This process is followed to modify the difficulty level of questions since the exam is administered in multiple sessions. The scores are normalized using the equi-percentile method.

  • An = Normalised Score of a Candidate
  • S1 = Standard Deviation of raw marks of Candidate Session
  • S2 = Standard Deviation of raw marks of Base Session
  • Yav = Average of raw marks of Base Session

  • Aav = Average of raw marks of Candidate Session

Que. How is the RRB NTPC 2021 Cutoff for Document Verification (DV) done?

Ans. Candidates who successfully qualify the CBT 2 and CBAT/TST will be called for DV. RRB decides RRB NTPC Cutoff marks to call candidates for document verification. Candidates clearing DV will then be called for the Medical Fitness Test.
