RRB JE 2026 Application Process has begun from August 14, 2026, under CEN 04/2026 for 3,993 vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official RRB websites until September 13, 2026. Candidates must complete the application form, upload the required documents, pay the prescribed fee, and submit the application before the deadline.

How to Apply for RRB JE 2026?

RRB JE Application Process 2026-27 must be completed online from October 31 to December 10, 2026. The application process can be divided into stages of account creation, online application, and fee payment.

Step 1: Account creation: Candidates must create an account on the RRB portal to register themselves by following the points below:

• Go to the official website and select RRB 2026 tab.
• Click the New Registration link to register yourself by giving your personal details and ID Proof.
• Click Submit to create the registration ID and Password. Note them down for future reference.

Step 2: Apply Online: Candidates must fill out the various fields to complete the application process by following the points below:

• Fill in the rest of the sections of the application form.
• Candidates can also select the exam language from the languages Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Step 3: Upload all the necessary documents in the required format.

Step 4: Proceed to pay the fees online. This can be done through BHIM

UPI/internet banking, or by using a credit/debit card of Visa/ Mastercard/ Maestro/ RuPay.

Step 5: Submit the application. Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates must pay the fee online to complete RRB JE application process 2026. The application fee for various categories is:

RRB JE Refund of Application Fee 2026

RRB will refund RRB JE application fee 2026-27 only for candidates who will appear in RRB JE CBT 1 2026. All candidates must clearly mention their bank details (Name of Bank, Name of Account Holder, Account Number, and IFSC Code) for receiving the refundable portion of their RRB JE exam fee (i.e., Rs. 400/- or Rs. 250/- as applicable, deducting bank charges) in their application form. The responsibility for furnishing correct bank account details lies with the candidates and RRB. In case of wrong/incomplete beneficiary details and erroneous/incomplete/rejected applications, there will be no refund of the exam fee.

Documents required for RRB JE 2026

Candidates are supposed to upload documents during their application process. Candidates are required to capture a live photograph of themselves at the time of application form filling, by webcam or by the front camera (screen side camera) of the mobile phone. SC/ST candidates requesting a free pass for train travel must also upload the certificate in PDF Format. All documents to be uploaded must be within 400 KB.
