SSC CGL 2025 Tier 2 Paper 1 Question Paper (19-Jan-2026)
The correct answer is

Bala Buddha of Sultanganj

Mathura emerged as a major center of sculptural art during the Kushana period, producing works in distinctive red sandstone depicting Buddhist, Jain, and Brahmanical themes.

The Katra Keshav Dev fragment, the Govind Nagar Yaksha, and the Standing Buddha from Govindnagar are all sculptures excavated from or associated with the Mathura region and its Kushana-era workshops.

The Bala Buddha of Sultanganj, however, is a famous large bronze Buddha image discovered at Sultanganj in Bihar, belonging to the Gupta period tradition of metal casting, and is therefore not a product of the Mathura school.

Hence, the answer is Bala Buddha of Sultanganj.
