Question

Which of the following equations represent the statement, \"one fifth of m is twice of one third of n\"?

This question was previously asked in
RRB Group D 2025 Question Paper (18-Aug-2026) (Shift 1)
The correct answer is

\(\dfrac{m}{5} = \dfrac{2n}{3}\)

\"One fifth of m\" is written as \(\dfrac{m}{5}\).

\"One third of n\" is written as \(\dfrac{n}{3}\), and \"twice of one third of n\" is \(2 \times \dfrac{n}{3} = \dfrac{2n}{3}\).

So the statement becomes \(\dfrac{m}{5} = \dfrac{2n}{3}\).

Hence, the correct equation is \(\dfrac{m}{5} = \dfrac{2n}{3}\).
