This question was previously asked in
SSC CGL 2018 (Tier 2) Statistics Previous Year Paper (22-feb-2018)
The correct answer is

13

Step 1 — Assume CP and find MP:

Let \(CP = 100\). Selling at MP gives 25% profit, so \(MP = 125\).

Step 2 — Apply the discount:

\[\text{SP} = 125 \times (1 - 0.096) = 125 - 12 = 113\]

Step 3 — Profit percent:

\[\text{Profit\%} = \frac{113 - 100}{100} \times 100 = 13\%\]

Therefore the profit percent is 13%.
