(Number of students enrolled in two different schools in certain years)

Bar graph: students enrolled in School A and School B, 2013-2016

(Legend: स्कूल A (blue bars) = School A; स्कूल B (orange bars) = School B)

What was the ratio of the total number of students enrolled in School A in 2013 and the total number of students enrolled in both schools in 2016?

This question was previously asked in
SSC GD Constable 2018 Question Paper PDF Hindi (8-Mar-2019) (Shift 3)
The correct answer is

4 : 23

4 : 23 is correct.

A comparison of two quantities is written in its simplest form by dividing both terms by their highest common factor.

From the graph, School A in 2013 = 20.

Both schools in 2016 = \(60 + 55 = 115\).

Required comparison = \(20 : 115 = 4 : 23\) (dividing both terms by 5).
