Using the Search box in File Explorer with *.ext
In Windows File Explorer, you can use wildcard characters to search for files:
Examples: *.pdf finds all PDF files; *.docx finds all Word documents.
Type the pattern in the search box (top-right in File Explorer) and press Enter.
This is more efficient than browsing through directories or using the dir command, and works across the selected folder and subfolders.
