The correct answer is

Plotter

A classification question asks us to find the single item that fails to share the common property binding the other three, so we identify what family each item belongs to.

A joystick is moved by the user to steer a cursor, character or object, sending those movements as instructions into the computer, which makes it an input device.

A stylus is a pen-like pointer used to tap, write or select on a touch screen or graphics tablet, again feeding the user's actions into the computer, so it is likewise an input device.

A trackball is rolled by the hand to move the on-screen pointer, and it too passes user commands into the machine, placing it in the same input-device family.

A plotter, in contrast, takes finished data from the computer and draws it out as lines and diagrams on paper; it delivers results outward rather than accepting input, making it an output device.

Grouping the four, joystick, stylus and trackball all send information into the computer, while the plotter alone sends information out, so it does not fit with the rest.

Hence the odd one out is Plotter.
