The correct answer is

By using satellite data for weather forecasting, crop monitoring, and resource mapping

By using satellite data for weather forecasting, crop monitoring, and resource mapping is correct.

India's space programme, run by ISRO, is designed to serve development needs. Earth observation satellites (Resourcesat, Cartosat, RISAT, Oceansat) and meteorological satellites (INSAT-3D, INSAT-3DR) supply data that is used directly by government departments.

In disaster management, satellite imagery and weather data help forecast cyclones, map floods and plan relief. In agriculture, the same data is used for crop acreage and yield estimation (for example the FASAL project), drought monitoring and soil and water resource mapping.

India has not yet flown a crewed mission (Gaganyaan is in development), social media alerts are not a space technology, and laser ground scanning from space stations is not part of India's programme, so the other choices do not describe the actual contribution.
