India Minimum Voting Age
As per the Election Commission of India, the minimum voting age in India is 18 years.
This was established by the 61st Constitutional Amendment Act, 1988, which lowered the voting age from 21 years to 18 years, effective from 28 March 1989.
Therefore, citizens who have attained the age of 18 years are eligible to vote in Indian elections.
