Question

_______ are electropositive in nature.

This question was previously asked in
RRB Group D 2018 Question Paper (11-Oct-2018) (Shift 3)
The correct answer is

Metals

An electropositive element is one that readily loses electrons from its outermost shell to form positive ions.

Metals have loosely held valence electrons and low ionisation energies, so they lose electrons easily and are therefore electropositive. Non-metals and metalloids do the opposite — they tend to gain or share electrons and are electronegative or weakly electropositive.

Hence, Metals are electropositive in nature.
