10 kg of rice at ₹22.50 per kg is mixed with 10 kg of rice at ₹37.50 per kg. What is the price per kg (in ₹) of the mixture?

The correct answer is

30

Cost of the first lot = 10 × 22.50 = ₹225; cost of the second lot = 10 × 37.50 = ₹375.

Total cost = ₹600 for 20 kg.

Price of the mixture = 600 ÷ 20 = ₹30 per kg.

Hence, the answer is 30.
