PPSC selects candidates based on their performance in subsequent rounds of the examination. The PPSC examination is conducted in three rounds- Prelims, Mains, and the final Personality Test. The prelims examination is an objective exam that consists of two papers each 200 marks. The duration of Paper-I and Paper-II in the Prelims exam 2020 is 2 hours.

The admit card for the examination will be released a few days before the date of examination. Candidates are required to download the admit card from the official website. Also, carry one ID proof, photograph along with the admit card to the centre of examination for the successful conduct of the examination.
As soon as the PPSC prelims are over, the Punjab Public Service Commission announces results on the official website. The result list will contain the name of the students who qualify for PPSC Mains.
The final list of the result will contain the name of the students who clear all the three rounds successfully.
