Snow Monkeys of Japan: Nature’s Hot Spring Bathers

Why in the News?

Japan's snow monkeys (Japanese macaques) have become a major tourist attraction due to their fascinating habit of soaking in natural hot springs (onsen) during the harsh winter months. This unique behavior not only captivates visitors but also helps these monkeys conserve energy in freezing temperatures.
