About the Red-Breasted Flycatcher

The Red-breasted Flycatcher (Ficedula parva) is a small passerine bird admired for its vibrant appearance and fascinating behavior. Its distinct orange throat, seen in males, makes it a striking sight in its natural habitat.

Habitat and Distribution

• Habitat: Prefers deciduous woodlands, especially those near water bodies. This bird often nests in tree holes or similar sheltered spots.
